We witness every day the differences between underground and mainstream electronic music. There are also a lot of discussions what exactly are the lines between underground and mainstream in techno among techno fans and artists.
What exactly is underground, can a best-selling producer be underground? Or a 10000 people event be underground, or doesn’t it have to be illegal with a small crowd?
Spanish DJ and producer Regal wrote his visions of the topic in his recent post, noting that ‘he has been receiving many critics about my sound, some people said it’s commercial, also about what i post in RRSS saying that’s nothing to do with techno.’
