Terraforma, the international music festival dedicated to artistic experimentation and environmental sustainability, announces the first round of artists for it’s fourth edition this upcoming 23-24-25 of June 2017 in the woodands of Villa Arconati (Milan). The protagonists of this years event, produced by Threes, cultural association in collaboration with Augusto Rancilio Foundation, will include the acclaimed British producer Andrew Weatherall, the pianst and composer Suzanne Ciani, the Arpanet project of Gerald Donald (Drexciya, Dopplereffekt) of Detroit, and the master of ambient music Laaraji.
Four sound explorers who, in their own respective genre and style, have influenced generations while still representing an essential reference in experimental electronic music. The artwork for Terraforma 2017, entitled “Carte Mutaforma” is curated by visual artists and musician Francesco Cavaliere, who previously preformed at the festival.

The new graphics will be oresented Tuesday, February 14, 2017 from 18.00 to 21.00 at the residence Gluck50 of Milan, accompanied by a live performance of unpublished works of Cavaliere along with a special contribution of Invernomuto. The concept is based on recipies, glossaries and elements inspired by chemistry, biology, as well as research in botany and geology. “I tried to extract some details to be reacted with the set – explained Cavaliere – the whisker of a hermit crab, the aura of an aromatic ring, the mold of redesigned footprints and valleys. They are like the ever-changing plastic sound libraries.” With the first round of tickets offered at 70€ now sold out, early bird tickets can be purchased through Mailticket for 80€ that includes the three day festival access and includes campling.
