German producer collective Township Rebellion sign a string-heavy three tracker of deeply blissful tech house collectively titled Aviation.
Dolores kicks in with an immense groove, setting up a grandiose backdrop from the get go. Scintillating synths and spacious arrangements send the track into euphoric heights, while the punchy bassline triggers instant movement.
Lumen bears a melancholic loveliness, revealing a rumbling bass and soft, airy pads. What intensifies the mood, however, is a haunting chord progression paired with a fittingly ghostly vocal, giving the track a new dimension.
Next Life consists of a back and forth dynamic piece, making use of the 1993 classic spoken word vocal-poem “Get Up”. Its upbeat and looming style adds a sense of impending doom, amping the track’s dance appeal.
