With his latest Broque EP, Max is getting back to his roots. More precisely, back to his alter ego Max Cavalerra, which he just mothballed recently.
After a recent period of personal changes, it’s a good time for Max to remind himself and us of his notorious excellence and his roots, which reach far back into historic techno territory, as proven by his numerous releases on Karmarouge, Harthouse Digital or Broque.
His new EP Techno Mode boasts five unreleased tracks, which skip the warmup and head straight for the dancefloor. While Rage, Devastate The Break and Who Cares are forceful and overpowering techno monsters, Did You Know takes a step back and embraces with lots of deepness and a 90s signature rave vibe. After all this massive dancefloor material, Transversal surprises with a dreamy electronica funkiness which brings you back to earth. Hard to say, whether Techno Mode is a reboot or a flashback or both at the same time.
Broque will release this EP on February 1st.
