Obscura returns to Sonar Off Week this year with a very special event featuring an exclusive all-night live performance by Agents Of Time – a distinctive “stage show” concept that the Italian trio has been eager to experiment with for many years.
Driven by an authentic devotion to the immediacy of analog instruments and real-time play, the “all live long” act naturally reflects on how they envisage their artistic engagement. One that combines the demands arising from the dance floor with a creative process based on meticulous attention to detail and the aim of constant reinvention.
After playing several extended live sessions around the world to test the effectiveness of such an act, they are now ready to take a big leap and present this highly interactive show with the amazing crowds of Sonar OFF Week.
To bring the roof down at this Obscura label showcase, they are teaming up with outstanding fellow artists who will play in the second room: legendary and pioneering French DJ/Producer The Hacker, Francois X, also part of the modern French Techno scene and co-owner of the D3M3NT3D imprint alongside Voiski, and Biemsix, a promising newcomer from the Obscura label who has already released on labels such as Dynamic Reflection and Chronicle.
This year’s iconic Obscura showcase is hosted in one of the most truly underground clubs in Barcelona, The Warehouse BCN. A pure industrial gem located close to Plaza d’Espaňa and the idyllic district of Montjuic.
