History will be made in August next year when Adam Beyer & Awakenings present the inaugural Drumcode Festival in Amsterdam.
While Drumcode stages have been a regularly fixture at Awakenings, this is the first time Adam Beyer’s celebrated brand will host its very own dedicated festival.
Beyer has played more Awakenings events than any other artist, with a history stretching back to the late 90s and over 75 shows for the legendary Dutch event production company. Throughout 2017 alone, he played five Awakenings events in total, including two sets each at Awakenings 20th anniversary event at the Gashouder in April and Awakenings Festival in June. For this reason, it was only fitting they should present the inaugural Drumcode Festival.
Drumcode’s debut festival will take place at NDSM in Amsterdam North, a former shipyard located on the banks of the River IJ and the line up is amazing!
In addition to founder and headliner Adam Beyer, Drumcode Festival will welcome over 25 of the biggest international artists and upcoming acts in the modern techno scene, such as Joseph Capriati, Amelie Lens, Pan-Pot, Nicole Moudaber and Ida Engberg. The festival will also feature many Drumcode favourites such as Bart Skils, Ilario Alicante, Dense & Pika, Enrico Sangiuliano and Layton Giordani, all ready to showcase the full scale of what Drumcode represents.
