Dance music has lost a legend. Tony Pike died over the weekend. He had been battling cancer and would have turned 85 this year.
he Pikes Hotel founder created one of the iconic hotels and party places in Ibiza that became a hotspot for celebrities all over the world including George Michael, Freddie Mercury, Liam Gallagher and Grace Jones.
Hedonism because synonymous with Pikes Hotel. Wham’s “Club Tropicana” was filmed there and Tony Pike made an important cameo in it as well.
