Tomorrowland have revealed the stage splits for this year’s festival

The heart of the festival, the main stage, will see a return from Carl Cox for the daybreak session. He’ll be in good company across the opening weekend, with Armin van Buuren, Camelphat, Don Diablo, and Tiësto all lined up to take to the Tomorrowland stage. Adam Beyer, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Fisher, and W&W will front the stage on weekend two.

Among the stages returning will be the Freedom Stage, which last year hosted Eric Prydz’s EPIC 6.0 performance. Prydz himself is bringing back Holosphere, with Four Tet, Michael Bibi and Joris Voorn all performing on the opening night. Charlotte de Witte, Kölsch and Armin van Buuren will also perform on the first weekend of Tomorrowland, which takes place from the 17th to the 19th July. The stage returns on weekend two, with Cristoph, Ida Engberg, and Ferry Corsten all slated to appear too.

The epic Rose Garden will also return in 2020, with a takeover from Generation Smash, welcoming the likes of Bassjackers, DJ Ghost, Rusko and Wilkinson across both weekends. L’Orangerie, which made its debut at the Belgian festival in 2019 is also heading back to Boom, with each hosted by the likes of Monstercat, Psygathering, and Future Sound of Egypt.

In terms of techno offerings, Amelie Lens will host an Exhale stage, with guests Ben Klock, Helena Hauff, and Milo Spykers, as well as stages hosted by Adriatique, Afterlife, and Drumcode. Carl Cox will also present Revolution, alongside Maceo Plex, who presents a stage to showcase his imprint – Ellum Audio.

Appearing as other stage hosts are Glitterbox, who welcome Horse Meat Disco and The Shapeshifters, Claptone’s Masquerade, and Lost Frequencies.

Tomorrowland 2020 will take place in Boom, Belgium, from the 17th to the 19th July, and again from the 24th to the 26th July. The festival, which celebrated its 15th anniversary in 2019, has been in Boom since the first edition of Tomorrowland, with the townspeople becoming an integral part of the festival’s history. The event runs for two weekends, and in between the festivals, the people in Boom and the local area attend a special party at the Tomorrowland site.
