Keith Flint, vocalist for The Prodigy, died this morning.

Flint was found in his North End home after 8 AM by police, The Scottish Sun reports. The death is not being treated as suspicious. He was aged 49.

A spokesman for Essex police said, “We were called to concerns for the welfare of a man at an address in Brook Hill, North End, just after 8.10am on Monday. We attended and, sadly, a 49-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene. His next of kin have been informed. The death is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner.”

Flint met Prodigy co-founder Liam Howlett in 1989, and was originally a dancer for the iconic rave act. He became the English group’s vocalist in 1996 with the hit singles “Firestarter” and “Breathe” before going on to contribute to further recordings and tour with the band.
