Melbourne nightclub Revolver has again warned punters about a bad batch of synthetic drugs, after receiving reports that the potentially lethal hallucinogen 25C-NBOMe is circulating in the city.

Back in January, the highly potent 25C-NBOMe was found in a toxic batch of MDMA that was linked to the deaths of four people and caused mass hospitalisations. On their Facebook page on Sunday, Revolver flagged that the drug was potentially being sold again.
“We have further anecdotal information that the drug 25C-NBOMe that killed four people and hospitalised 20 in January is circulating in Melbourne this weekend,” they wrote. “This drug is often sold as something else and lethal even in small doses, particularly if snorted. PLEASE do not put unknown substances in your system. It isn’t worth the risk.”
A couple of hours earlier, the Chapel Street venue also voiced their concerns over a number of hospitalisations in the city on Saturday night, reportedly due to the synthetic drug GHB.
“GHB is an extremely dangerous drug and Revolver Upstairs has a zero tolerance policy for people found with the drug at our venue due to its exceptionally high risks and our firm commitment to harm minimisation. Please stay away from this dangerous drug to avoid a lifetime ban from Revolver Upstairs, or worse — ending up in hospital.”
