The artists had previously rubbed shoulders when Vikthor featured on Clif Jack’s record label, MJA the Vision, but this is the Italian pairings first time collaborating on original music.
Vikthor first worked with Carl Cox in 2018 when featuring on his iconic imprint, Intec, and that was a turning point in what has been a fruitful career. Carl Cox has continued to support Vikthor who has been a regular feature of 23rd Century, alongside other influential imprints such as Terminal M, Arcane Music, and Drumcode.
Clif Jack is making his 23rd Century debut following outings on prestigious record labels such as Filth on Acid, JAM, SCI+TEC, and Armada. Clif Jack is a regular collaborator, who in 2025 got the honour of teaming up with Mauro Picotto to rework his classic track “Komodo (Save a Soul).”
“You and Me” is the solo track on this release. After a scene setting intro where the bass swells, and the percussion builds, the tense strings and soulful vocals are introduced. The intense vocals by M.A.S. Collective sing “don’t stop, got to keep on going” that fits perfectly with the relentless energy of this instant classic.
