The summer season is already in full swing with festivals galore and a busy season of parties in Ibiza. BILBAO BBK LIVE | SPAIN

6-8 July 2017

Set atop the Kobetamendi Hill with breathtaking views across culture-rich Bilbao, Spanish festival Bilbao BBK Live 2017 will showcase acts including Depeche Mode, The Killers, Die Antwoord, Justice and Phoenix. Basoa, the festivals carefully curated dance music space will also play host to uninterrupted party sessions from many of the most-respected names in electronic music including Dixon, The Black Madonna and Motor City Drum Ensemble. With many more acts still to be announced, it’s the perfect excuse for a long weekend in Bilbao, home to the Guggenheim Museum, a vast cultural hub, and the world-famous Basque gastronomic scene.

OASIS FESTIVAL | MOROCCO

MILKSHAKE | THE NETHERLANDS

What happens when the unique Free Love and Tolerance Policy of two of the biggest clubs in Amsterdam are thrown together in a blender with a dose of liberalism, art, culture, entertainment and creativity? Milkshake Festival Amsterdam – the world’s most open-minded electronic music festival. A collaboration between two of the city’s major clubs, Paradiso and AIR, the festival has grown into one of the biggest and most respected LGBT events in the world. This year will be the 7th edition and as well as The Village People making a guest appearance, there will be the Wham’bam Thank You Ma’am stage, a special ode to Wham in honour of George Michael, plus many other leading electronic and alternative acts. Europe’s leading LGBT parties and promoters will also be hosting stages, including London’s WUT? CLUB and Paris collective Less Drama More Techno.

HÏ  IBIZA

For clubbing on the island this summer, look no further than Hï Ibiza, the much-anticipated, brand new superclub by Ushuaïa Entertainment. The club formerly known as Space opens its doors for the first time on Sunday 28th May, with a fresh new look and the most advanced sound and technologies on the island. From May through September Hï Ibiza‘s two dancefloors – Theatre (inspired by an Italianate theatre) and Club – will play host to the finest selectors from the global electronic music scene, including residents Armin van Buuren, Eric Prydz, Kölsch, Joris Voorn, Luciano, Martin Garrix, Nic Fanciulli and Steve Lawler. Just a short distance from the city of Amsterdam, the world’s longest running dance music festival takes visitors on a creative journey, combining the finest electronic music with an extensive arts and culture line-up. With over 300 acts, crisscrossing house, techno, disco, African beats, vinyl-only, hardstyle, hip hop and feel-good bands, there’s something for every electronic music fan. Inclusiveness and innovation are at the heart of Holland’s Welcome to the Future Festival, which takes place on July 22nd, 2017. For the eleventh year in a row, Het Twiske’s mesmerising nature reserve––just outside of Amsterdam––will host one of the Dutch summer’s most extraordinary electronic music events. Welcome to the Future family members include some of house and techno’s most relevant DJs and live-acts, including Loco Dice, Chris Liebing, Seth Troxler, Dave Clarke, Kölsch, Damian Lazarus, Kerri Chandler and Lil Louis.
