When we speak about iconic electronic tunes, ‘Children’ by Robert Miles is probably the trance tune almost every person in the world know. This Platinum #1 Hit is the most known trance tune outside of trance community.

‘Children’ is an instrumental composition by Italian composer Robert Concina, we all know as Robert Miles. It was first released in Italy in January 1995 as part of the EP Soundtracks on Joe Vanelli’s DBX label, but it did not chart. Vanelli brought the track to a nightclub in Miami where it was heard by Simon Berry of Platipus Records. Berry worked with Vanelli and James Barton of Liverpool’s Cream nightclub to release the song in November 1995 as the lead single from his album Dreamland. The song was Miles’ most successful single, being certified Gold and Platinum in several countries and reaching number one in more than 12 countries.

Unfortunately, the world lost Robert Miles last year, as talented producer died last year, aged 47 after a battle with cancer. Many producers and colleagues payed their tributes and many new remixes of this classic were released after his passing. The most recent one, in which upcoming duo Dok&Martin and A.J.Asiain pay homage to this legend, turning trance into techno boosted remix.
