4. Synthetic Cathinones aka Bath Salts
“Bath salts” is a term used in North America and Europe to describe a number of recreational designer drugs. The name derives from instances in which the drugs were sold disguised as true bath salts.
Drugs chemically related to cathinone, a stimulant found in the khat plant. Khat is a shrub grown in East Africa and southern Arabia, and people sometimes chew its leaves for their mild stimulant effects. Synthetic variants of cathinone can be much stronger than the natural product and, in some cases, very dangerous. So, if you don’t want to dance completely naked (which is the best thing that can happen) avoid those or expect some serious shit.
